Clipboards

Getting creative today! Made this for a friends birthday (belated) I used the Holiday Treasure DP, even though it is not a holiday theme, I love these colors.
Adding the Blue Bayou, Kiwi Kiss and Red Riding hood. A little
ribbon, some
buttons and I think it will
look great when she adds some pictures of her adorable boys.
The poem I had saved to scapbook and it worked perfect on this gift.

Mojo Mondays (day late)

For the Mojo Monday challenge I used SU colors-Kiwi Kiss and Blue Bayou along with DP Muirfield. The stamp set is from PaperTrey and I love it. This is a simple card for a friend of ours and their new baby James.

Kristina's Color Challenge

This weeks color challenge from Kristina was hard; trying to put an orange, yellow, brown with a purple together does not sound good....but I think I did well. Using Pocket Silhouettes from SU, the card base is Eggplant Envy with some So Saffron and Close to Cocoa behind the beautiful flowers that I colored with markers. Added some So Saffron ribbon and a rub on....viola

Kristina's Color Challenge #30

These are very peaceful colors and I love the bedspread. For this weeks challenge I used the Blooms set from the summer mini. I thought about adding some whisper white under the certain celery, but I didn't think it looked good with the Vanilla twill. What do you think?

Kristina's Color Inspiration

Using Pacific Point, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant from Kristina's color inspiration was interesting to say the least. That is what I love about all the inspiration challenges, these are definately not colors that one would choose first, but I think it worked. I choose to omit the teal and only used 3 colors, but here is my attempt. Have a great day!!

BIC30 for Beate's Inspiration Challenge

Here is my try for Beate's Inspiration Challenge. I used SU black, Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquiouse and So Saffron and made my own "Prima-like" flowers. I used the Cozuzzle, made different size circles, distressed the paper and WA-La.....they look a little like the real ones, even though I have not had a real Prima in my hand, I have seen them.......what do you think?

Getting ready to Vote.

Encouraging everyone to go out and VOTE today. I am not a big fan of politics, in fact; I feel that everyone in politics is soooo crooked it makes America and the American dream {sad}.....but I will put my face of hope on and vote for who I think will do better than the last 8yrs. Hopefully the gas prices will stay where they are or get even better ($2.04 here in MN). Absolutely ridiculous that gas was close to $4.00 a gallon!!!!

Day late.....

Late last night I worked on a challenge for 'Mojo Monday' a card sketch from Julee. Another thing I tried was to break out all my Close to my Heart products. I keep buying them from my sister (she sells CTMH, I sell SU) I think I get so used to the Stampin Up products since that is all I have owned for years.....hard to think about other colors and stamp sets. One thing I do like (a Lot) is the clear acrylic, easy to line up images. Even tho....I love my Stamp-a-jig!!! Here is my card:
