Sketch challenge
This is the sketch challenge for today SC130 on Splitcoast, the card was to have an image with a background of center. Not sure if I did it exact, but it turned out to be a great card. In fact, I am making several to send out as thank you's today. The set used was 'Simply Said', paper used was Certain Celery, Regal Rose, and Very Vanilla. The image was stamped on the velum, hung by two brads and colored in with SU markers...Celery, Rose, Almost Amethyst, Apricot Appeal. Add some ribbon and Viola!!! (is that spelled right?)

Color challenge--CC120
Its Tues. another color challenge, the challenge was to say 'so long to Cool Caribbean'. I will miss this color also, I did save enough for my own scrapbooks, it goes with everything. Well, today we were to use Cool Caribbean, Marigold (another retiring color) and Pretty in Pink. I look forward to Tues, the color challenges are my favorite. Today, I used the 'Year to Year' set coming out in the new catalog (which I am watching for the mailman as we speak, jealous of everyone that has already received it) Making a Gate Card, I used versamark and the flowers from the 'Year to Year', cut out the elephant and colored with Pretty in Pink. Added 3 pink brads and the word 'adorable'. I like it...Easy and Simple.

I want to apologize to anyone that may check my blog for new cards and ideas. Trying to keep up with work, kids, gardens, started an exercise program.....life!!! Color Challenges
Here is a card from Splitcoast color challenge. We were to use Real Red, Barely Banana, and Creamy Caramel. Like them together and I know I wouldn't have thought of that myself. This is CC 119. I had many difficulties trying to upload this on the Splitcoast website....that is my biggest problem, "computer idiot"....anyone out there that is a pro, give me a quick tutorial. Please!
I made this card for my DH's friend that is turning the big 4-0!! He will love it.

Class
Tomorrow I am having a Birthday Calendar class for my 'stamper girlz'. Here are the sample months minus September, I am having difficulties figuring out what I want to use. I thought about a "school" theme, since school starts in Sept., but I don't have any stampers that will work. Need to call my fabulous upline Shelly, to find me an apple stamp and get this done. Along with the calendar the girls will be doing 3 cards, 1 male birthday, 1 female birthday, and 1 kid birthday...they have a lot of stamping to do. I will post the cards later (after I finish them and cut all the paper--YIKES)

untitled
First card I made with a hostess set, 'Blooming with Happiness' Cameo Coral and Choc. Chip. Used the SU vintage brads @ the corners. LOve it!! So easy! Next, is a journal that I covered with paper from the hostess scrappin' kit, used 'Doodle This' and SU ribbon. So, easy to jazz up even the simplest notebook.

Challenges
This is a card challenge from Beate blogs (under Fresh and Fun) I followed the dimensions of the card using the new Soft sky from SU, Cameo Coral and the flowered blue strip with little white flowers is from the hostess kit. Flower from Doodle This was embossed with Kraft white and Iridescent Ice. The center of the fabric flower is the new brads,Ice blue circle. It is hard to tell with the picture, but there is a strip of vellum over the flowered paper and the word 'Sparkle' is also embossed.
